Brianna Casey

William Pitt Mason Prize

This prize goes to the senior in the Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department who has demonstrated outstanding academic work and gives promise of outstanding success in his or her professional chemistry career. Research is a major criterion for this award.

Pete Koster

John and Mary Cloke Prize

Awarded to a graduating senior in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology who is continuing in a graduate school of chemistry, medicine, or biological science, and who has made a distinguished record, especially in the department.

Slezak Award for Service and Leadership

Awarded to a graduating senior for providing exceptional service to the department and exhibiting qualities of leadership.

Katelin McPeck

Chemistry and Chemical Biology Excellence in Undergraduate Studies Award

Awarded to a graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding academic performance and strong leadership abilities and who will be continuing to graduate studies.

Anna Parker

Dr. Reva Servoss Student Research Experience Fund

This award supports an annual summer research opportunity for one female graduate or undergraduate student, with preference given to sophomore or junior students who demonstrate strong potential for graduate study.

This prize goes to a doctoral candidate who has an exceptional graduate record in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, has carried out meritorious doctoral thesis research, and shows outstanding promise in the field of chemistry.

The Slezak Memorial Fellowship

This award was established by Dr. Jane Slezak ’64 as a memorial to Stephen and Cecilia Slezak, her parents. It is awarded to a 3rd or 4th year graduate student demonstrating outstanding research performance.

This award was established by Sonja Krause 54’ in honor of Dr. Johanna Zelie Maas, chemist, physician, Holocaust survivor, and humanitarian. The award is given to graduate teaching assistants in recognition of their outstanding effort in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology.
